The NZLLA is interested in promoting the writing of all members. We hope to have past journal issues available at some stage.

2009 : Mary Rose Russell took part in the NZ Style Guide preparation and compiled the  Index to the Legal Citations of Aotearoa New Zealand (LCANZ) which provides guidance on the citation of all major New Zealand legal journals and law reporting series

Congratulations Mary Rose on this very useful resource,  it assists in  filling a conspicuous gap in New Zealand legal literature.

2007

  • Pat Northey started the Lawhawk newsletter and libraries in 2000. It filled a gap as the legal internet in New Zealand was developing rapidly. The site was taken down in 2007.  Many thanks to The Knowledge Basket who hosted the site and paid for the traffic the whole time.
  •  Judith MacDonald, Employment Court information, August 2007. This article outlines the Court website and the information available.

2006

  • Mary-Rose Russell was awarded her LLM degree with first class honours in 2006. Her thesis is entitled Mainstreaming legal research skills into a New Zealand law school curriculum, [2006] Thesis (LLM)--University of Auckland, 2006. All members are encouraged to examine this excellent work. Mary-Rose Russell is the  Library Manager Law at the University of Auckland. 
  • Jane Treadwell was the Managing Director of Knowwhere Consulting Ltd.
  • Margaret Greville regularly writes for overseas collections on the topic of finding New Zealand law.
  • Alan Edwards is offering his Q&A tips once more. The first and second have been received as at August 2006.
